  • Number of people younger than age 65 uninsured at the time of interview: 26.8 million
  • Percent of people younger than age 65 uninsured at the time of interview: 9.9%
  • Percent of children younger than age 18 uninsured at the time of interview: 5.1%
  • Percent of adults ages 18–64 uninsured at the time of interview: 11.6%

Private insurance
