WTC Health Program Contracts

The World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program relies on contracts to fulfill our mission to provide medical monitoring and treatment of WTC-related health conditions for 9/11 responders and survivors. The WTC Health Program awards contracts to administer program services including:

  • Health care delivery and prescriptions,
  • Member and clinician services support,
  • Outreach and education to current and potential members, and
  • Consultation on various topics.

Contracting with the federal government is a highly regulated and complex process. All contracting across the Federal government is regulated by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) . The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Office of Financial Resources (OFR) is responsible for the stewardship of the WTC Health Program’s contracts. The OFR has identified six key phases of the federal contracting process.
